Embracing the heart of Pinterest to foster knowledge,
well-being, and connectedness
Pinterest knew the value of robust, thoughtful internal communications, but needed a partner to help create new programming from the ground up.
They brought us on to design the company’s annual all-hands event. With a look and feel focused on color, movement, and a signature geometric paper cut-out confetti, we helped Pinterest staff align on their vision and celebrate their creators.
Building on the successes of the previous year’s event, we re-imagined the all-hands aesthetic to reflect a new theme and build excitement at Pinterest.
Highlighting individuality and capturing the spirit of learning and growth, we developed an illustrative approach with nature themes and a bold color palette.
In between the big moments, we worked as an extension of the Pinterest team to help them highlight success stories, talk about mental health, and develop new and interesting avenues to increase belonging.
With a foundation of strong company values and robust creative freedom, we combined logo design, illustration, and animation to enrich content across a whole suite of Pinterest initiatives.
And of course, connecting people shouldn’t mean talking at them, but rather, with them.
We used a photography collage approach to create snackable, shareable content that empowered Pinners and personnel alike to make their voices heard at Pinterest.
